While the focus of this position is specific to North America, there is opportunity for expansion into other businesses across the Americas Zone.
This Production Materials Sourcing Manager will establish the sourcing strategy for Production Materials (PM) in Schindler Elevator Corporation – North America. He or She will lead the direct sourcing organization (~6 Supply Management / Sourcing Professionals) in driving lowest total cost, over direct categories. The role will drive standardization and supplier integration throughout the organization and evaluate new sourcing opportunities through team development and process improvement. This incumbent will be an integral piece of Schindler’s continued growth to be the leader in the industry, in both quality and cost. The PM Sourcing Manager will need to develop accurate metrics and implement best-practice procurement principles throughout the team. The successful candidate will need to be able to grow his or her team over the next few years to manage and align the sourcing activities across North America.
