Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, the Maintenance Manager will manage and lead all day-to-day operations related to facilities maintenance, from preventative to emergency. The role will primarily focus on one of the Post Brother’s premiere properties operations in the Philadelphia area and will include maintenance, troubleshooting and repair coordination of HVAC, electrical, Plumbing, appliances and fixtures, as well as structural maintenance as needed.
We seek a technically sound, dependable, and people-oriented Maintenance Leader that is accustom to a fast-paced multi-family operation. He / She will be responsible for tackling general maintenance requirements and issues when they arise, and it is expected that the ideal candidate will be able to facilitate repairs and make the necessary arrangements for emergency repairs. In addition, the ideal candidate will have implemented a process for handling, escalating or de-escalating maintenance requests and cases so that there is a more streamlined process in handling smaller requests while larger requests or true emergency maintenance requests can be met. Post has a complex ecosystem of properties, and although most equipment is new, issues still arise. It is expected that the Maintenance Manager will be hands-on and handle maintenance requirements through their own problem-solving ability. If emergencies arise, the Maintenance Manager will be responsible for coordinating the appropriate parties to initiate repairs and solutions immediately.
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (at least 60 lbs), climb ladders up to 24 ft, stand and walk for 8 hours, and perform other physically demanding duties as directed.
10 years maintenance, construction or Project Management experience.
