Valo Health has retained GattiHR for their Head of Talent search, located in Boston, MA. J.L. Baker and Emily Gumm will lead this search.

Valo Health (formerly Integral Health) is a technology company applying human and machine intelligence to accelerate the creation of life-changing medical treatments. At the core of this vision is Valo’s computational platform: end-to-end, integrated drug discovery and development engine that is being built from the ground up.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Head of Talent will design, develop and deliver talent and organization development strategies across Valo Health. This newly created position will work to ensure the ongoing development of a high-performing, highly engaged workforce with the right leadership, managerial and technical capabilities required to improve performance and deliver on the core mission of accelerating the creation of life-changing treatments.

The Head of Talent will oversee the complete employee life cycle, ensuring the best experience from the recruiting phase to full potential development. Furthermore, this position will play a critical role in supporting organizational transformation as Valo is developing an aggressive business plan around delivering a pipeline of life-changing medicines focused on neurodegenerative, oncological, and
cardiovascular diseases.

This Leader will achieve this by working collaboratively with the senior leadership to identify and understand the challenges and opportunities and to deliver talent and OD solutions that drive continuous competency improvement, create alignment, improve workforce performance, and ensure a capable workforce that is led by outstanding leaders and managers.

Learning formats include in-person training, third party training and eLearning options. The candidate must be familiar with all training design and delivery modalities. They must be a strategic business partner with proven experience working with and influencing senior leaders to make optimal talent decisions with a focus on performance, development, and retention. The ability to work cross-functionally in an environment of continuous transformation and innovation is essential for success.
