Hunter Douglas Fabrication consists of eight sales regions, two Customer Service centers and three state-of-the-art fabrication facilities, fabricating the full line of Hunter Douglas window coverings.
The primary function of the DSM in Training is to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to advance into a sales role within Hunter Douglas Fabrication. The incumbent will be exposed to all areas of the business, develop product knowledge; learn processes and procedures including an understanding of operations, customer service, sales, and dealer relationships. Upon successful completion of the Sales Training program, they will transition into the DSM role for the Chicago, IL territory, or another in the greater region. Prior to this transition, he DSM in training will shadow the current DSM for 8-18 months in order to obtain a complete picture of day-to-day duties and responsibilities of territory management and to learn the importance of relationship building
