WestRock has retained GattiHR for their Director, Executive Compensation search, located in Atlanta, GA. J.L. Baker and Emily Gumm will lead this search.

This position plays a key role in the management of WestRock’s Executive Compensation activities. The Executive Compensation Leader will be responsible for the design, structure, and administration of all compensation programs for executives. They will develop and communicate short and long-term incentive compensation, executive benefits, and perquisite plans. This is a very impactful and important role and will lead the proxy process, preparation of the CD&A, Board materials and lead prep for the Compensation Committee Chair and CEO among other things.

The Director, Executive Compensation will serve as a trusted partner and advisor to business leadership on Executive Compensation best practices and design principles. S/he will be responsible for fostering collaboration between the executive compensation team and internal clients in order to effectively build and implement best in class executive comp programs at WestRock. Blending a strategic approach with tactical capability will be required of this leader as they drive future plans and build “Flexibility within Framework” as the ultimate objective.
