Neon Therapeutics, a growing company of 100 employees and a leader in the field of neoantigen-targeted cancer therapies, was founded in 2015 through the investment of Third Rock Ventures. After raising $125M via successful Series A and B financing, the company went public in June of 2018 raising an additional $100M.
The mission of Neon is to build a breakthrough oncology company creating neoantigen-based therapeutics that significantly improve the lives of cancer patients. The ambition at Neon is to lead a paradigm shift in the treatment of cancer towards an era of truly personal immuno-oncology therapies. Neon Therapeutics is committed to developing treatments across both T cell therapies and vaccines using neoantigen biology. It is Neon’s belief that neoantigen-targeted therapies will be a critical treatment component for many types of cancer, and as such, the Neon team aims to urgently develop these treatment options for patients in need.
Reporting to the Vice President and Head of Human Resources, the Director, R&D HR Business Partner & Coach will oversee Neon’s day to day HR operations and talent management. This highly motivated individual will cultivate relationships with functional leadership and, through that partnership, provide counsel on a full range of HR business areas including talent acquisition, performance management, career development, employee relations, and organizational planning.
